Plano, Texas, January 4, 2010 — The Suder Foundation (TSF) has retained the Center for Nonprofit Management to develop a brand strategy for the Foundation’s scholarship program.
TSF will work with one of the Center’s expert consultants, Laura Wooten of Wooten Communications. The Foundation is preparing to launch the Suder Scholars Program at two large public four-year universities in August, 2010, with the ultimate goal of creating a national network.
The Foundation’s scholarship program has several unique elements such as its scholar selection tool, seed funding model, and comprehensive program evaluation. An analysis of these attributes in relationship to key constituencies will enable the Foundation to develop a strong national brand.
“With our vision to scale the Scholars’ program to a national level, we needed expert advice to guide us through an examination of our brand,” said Eric Suder, President of the Suder Foundation. “The Center for Nonprofit Management’s consulting department, coupled with Laura’s business expertise and her passion for working with nonprofits, makes them great partners for building our brand.”
As one of the nation’s leading management support organizations, the Center for Nonprofit Management brings the most current tools for best practices in nonprofit management to thousands of nonprofit boards, staff, and volunteers each year. Since 1980, the Center for Nonprofit Management has been the leading nonprofit consulting program in north Texas. The Center’s consulting services provide innovative and results-oriented strategies to move your agency to the next level of performance, impact, and success.
